America, late 19th century…

After the tragic loss of his mother, 7 year-old Oliver Graves has an encounter with a feminine spirit from another world that gives him an enchanted gift. As she departs, Oliver is instructed to not look upon her. However, he does not listen and becomes hopelessly enraptured by her. 

Many years pass and we find Oliver as an adult who has used this encounter and gift to create a vast corporate empire in the Great City. But within his nearly completed state-of-the-art skyscraper “Graves’ Tower”, hides a technological mystery that could shake the foundations of the modern world.
